Phonology ========= In this screen you can configure the sound inventory your language has, as well as how your writing system maps to these sounds. | The IPA charts are taken from `Wikipedia `_ .. figure:: /images/examples/phonology.png :align: left | You can start including symbols by toggling them in the charts. | They'll be automatically added to the Romanization list. | If your language uses other sounds not listed here, you can take them from the `extended chart on Wikipedia `_ and add them manually. .. _phonology romaniation: Romanization ############ .. figure:: /images/examples/romanization.png :align: right | This list allows you to map your languages sounds to the different ways they might show up in your language's writing. | It's only used for the pronunciation's engine. | You can still have other character configured for the word generator and add new words with them.
